If you’re like me you’re probably subscribed to a bunch of RSS feeds. Well, sometimes you just don’t have time to read them all, right? I just found this pretty funny comic:
It’s from bLaugh.com which is a web comic that makes fun of the blog community and other geeky stuff - or as they call [...]

In the beginning of this month I received this nice greeting card from Mark Joyner:
If you don’t know Mark Joyner he’s often referred to as the godfather of internet marketing. He’s the innovator of many online marketing techniques and the founder of Simpleology.
I’m pretty sure I got this holiday card because I’m an affiliate for [...]

I mentioned John Chow in an earlier post. Well, John is a real up-and-comer in the blogosphere and is on his way to become an internet celebrity ;) His blog is already in the Technorati Top 1000 and he’s set on reaching the Top 100 before the end of this year. You might say that [...]

WordPress released a new upgrade - version 2.0.7. This is an important upgrade because it fixes a PHP security problem and a FeedBurner issue that was in 2.0.6. I had noticed the FeedBurner problem - often when I checked the RSS feed for this blog (and other WordPress blogs) I often got the error message [...]

I just installed a cool plug-in that is called Share This by Alex King. The plug-in adds a link to all my posts that enables my readers to add the post to all kinds of social sites (like del.icio.us, digg, furl, reddit…) or e-mail the post to a friend.
So, instead of having 15 different icons [...]

I’m an affiliate for a few of Mike’s websites - but I don’t know where $25 should [...]

I just read this great article over at ProBlogger - it’s by guest blogger Tony Hung and he lists a lot of good tips on how to market your blog in 2007.
Tony split the tips into a few categories. Here are some that I liked and/or found interesting - with my comments:
Get Your Own House [...]

One blog that I frequently visit is JohnChow.com. Today when I was going to check his RSS feed through Live Bookmarks in Firefox I got the message “Live Bookmark feed failed to load.” So I typed johnchow.com into the location bar and then I saw this:
I filtered out the text because I don’t want to [...]

Standing out is usually good if you want to get noticed. Something that people can remember you by always helps when you’re promoting you or your business. That’s why I’ve added a “favicon” to my blog - favicon stands for “favorites icon” and it’s a small graphic that is displayed to the left of the [...]

It’s only been a couple of hours since my first post and so far nobody has visited my blog. That doesn’t surprise me really…
But I was wondering - why should people with new blogs bother writing if there is nobody reading it? It’s kind of like the chicken and the egg - if you don’t [...]
