This Is A Top 100 Blog

May 21st, 2007 · 26 Comments · 2,311 views

Technorati Top 100 - #99I was just checking out Technorati’s Top 100 Most Favorited list (maybe Top 99 is more appropriate because now they’re only showing the top 99 blogs, anyways…) and I finally saw my blog there :) I’m #99 because 213 members have made this blog a favorite - I want to thank all those people for adding my blog as a favorite, if you’ve favorited me just post a comment with a fave link and I’ll gladly reciprocate. I haven’t yet received any extra traffic from this - that might change as time passes… It might help if I’m able to climb a little higher. How can I do that?

Well, the brilliant Gary Lee is at it again - first he created a viral my name is my domain list and now he’s created one to get more people to favorite you on Technorati. Here we go:

***Start Copying Here:***
Technorati Faves Train created by: Gary Lee

Here are the rules:

1) Write a short introduction paragraph about what how you found the list and include a link to the blog that referred you to the list.

2) COPY the Rules and ENTIRE List below and post it to your blog. To avoid duplicate content and increase the amount of keywords your site can accessible for, go ahead and change the titles of the blog. Just don’t change the links of the blog.

3) Take “My New Faves” and move them into the “The Original Faves” list.

4) Add 3 Blogs that you’ve just added to your Technorati Favorites to the “My New Faves” section. Remember to also add the “Fave Me” link next to your new blogs (i.e. http://technorati.com/faves?sub=addfavbtn&add=http://domain.com)

5) Add Everyone on this list to your Technorati Favorites List by clicking on “Fave the Site.” (Please FAVE EVERYONE on the List prior to posting the list or a Kitten will Die Alone in a Dark Alley Tonight). Those who want good kharma will fave you back. If not, you will for sure get the benefits of faves from the bloggers who continue this list after you.

***End Copying Here***

A good tip if you want to put this on your blog: Right-click and select “View Page Source” (if you’re using Firefox - if you’re not, then why are you not using Firefox??). Then find the “Start Copying Here” part and start copying.

Like I did last time I changed my anchor text to Make Money Online for added SEO value. If you’re on the original list and you want me to edit your listing let me know.

This link train is pretty much open to any blog because there are no requirements like in the last link train. Although I do believe most blog memes/tag games require that a previous participant in the meme must tag you before you can post this on your own blog I think it’s alright for anybody to pick this up. So, by visiting this blog post you have my permission to post this on your own blog :)

However, if you’re not interested in posting this list on your blog but you still want to help me out - I would appreciate it if you would click here to add this blog as a favorite on Technorati :)
